How much does heritage carpentry cost?

It depends on access, timber damage, profile matching and finish. We inspect the work and quote it.

Do you match old timber profiles?

Yes. We can match trims, fretwork, boards and other timber details where needed.

Do I need council approval?

Small like-for-like repairs may not need approval. Visible changes on heritage homes can. We guide you on this.

Can I stay in the home during carpentry work?

Usually, yes. We will tell you if dust, access or safety changes that.

Do you repair timber rot?

Yes. We repair timber rot in verandahs, trims, windows, doors and other old-home timber.

How long does the work take?

Minor repairs can be quick. Custom matching and larger outdoor work takes longer. We include timing in the quote.
