Walk In Robe Renovation, North Street

An outdated bathroom transformed into a sleek, modern walk in robe with clean lines, considered storage and lighting that makes the space feel brighter and easier to use.

Project overview

An old bathroom reworked into a considered walk in robe.

It is hard to believe this space used to be an old bathroom. The North Street robe renovation shows how much impact detail and design can have when the layout is reconsidered properly.

What was once an outdated wet area is now a clean, modern walk in robe. Full-height cabinetry, open hanging bays, deep drawers and integrated lighting give the room a sense of order, while the long ceiling opening brings brightness into what could otherwise have felt like a narrow utility space.

The result is more than storage. It is a space that supports the rhythm of everyday life: easy to use, calm to walk into, and genuinely enjoyable at the start and end of the day.

What we did

Storage designed around daily use.

A successful robe renovation is not only about fitting in more cabinetry. It is about making the space easier to move through, easier to organise and better to live with every day.

Converted the old bathroom

The outdated bathroom footprint was reworked into a dedicated robe, changing the purpose of the room while keeping the space practical and efficient.

Built useful storage

Hanging rails, drawers and full-height cabinetry were arranged to make clothing and accessories easy to see, reach and organise.

Added light and polish

Integrated strip lighting, soft carpet, rounded joinery details and the arched entry give the robe a clean finish that feels intentional rather than purely functional.
