Combined two functions
The laundry and butler's pantry were planned as one efficient room, saving space while keeping cleaning, washing and kitchen overflow close at hand.
A bright, practical laundry and butler's pantry combination designed to save space, add storage and keep everyday utility close to the kitchen.
Project overview
This Northhaven renovation shows how much value there is in combining two hardworking spaces. Rather than treating the laundry and butler's pantry as separate rooms, the layout brings them together so the home gains storage, bench space and utility without wasting floor area.
The room sits directly off the kitchen, making it practical for food preparation overflow, washing up, household storage and laundry tasks. White cabinetry, stone-look wall and floor tile, a black sink and black mixer give the space a clean finish that still feels connected to the main kitchen.
Cabinetry by Wallspan helps make the compact footprint work harder, with overhead cupboards, under-bench storage and long benchtops giving the room more everyday flexibility. The result is simple, bright and efficient: a utility zone that supports the way the home is actually used.
What we did
A laundry works best when it has storage, durable surfaces and enough bench space to make everyday tasks easier. Here, the butler's pantry function adds another layer of usefulness.
