Opened up the plan
Internal walls were removed to improve sightlines and create a stronger connection between the kitchen, dining and living areas.
A refined, light-filled kitchen created by opening up the home, improving flow and balancing clean white cabinetry with a deep black stone island.
Project overview
This North Haven renovation began with a clear goal: open up the home and create a kitchen that felt calmer, brighter and more connected to the surrounding living spaces.
Adelaide Heritage Renovations worked closely with the clients to expand that vision into a more substantial transformation. Internal walls were removed, a glass cavity door was integrated and the layout was shaped to maximise natural light, giving the finished kitchen a stronger sense of openness without losing the structure of the home.
The detail is deliberately refined. Clean white cabinetry keeps the room feeling fresh, the deep black stone island anchors the centre of the space, and integrated Miele appliances bring everyday function into a polished, minimal finish. The result does more than update the way the kitchen looks; it changes how the home feels to live in.
What we did
The project focused on removing visual barriers, strengthening the connection between rooms and finishing the kitchen with details that feel calm, durable and practical.
Internal walls were removed to improve sightlines and create a stronger connection between the kitchen, dining and living areas.
A glass cavity door and brighter open layout helped natural light travel through the home while keeping the adjoining spaces flexible.
The black stone island, clean cabinetry, integrated appliances and crisp finishes give the kitchen a balanced mix of daily function and quiet impact.
